Born and raised in Ohio.

 

Years with the club: Club member since 2003.

 

Club positions held: served as secretary, treasurer, vice president, and observatory coordinator.

 

Years observing: Observing since 2002.

 

Formal astronomy training: Two semesters of undergraduate general astronomy.

 

Scopes presently owned: My one and only ( so far ) telescope is an Orion Skyquest XT8 on a Dobson mount.

 

Type of observing most interested in: My favorite targets are globular and open clusters, planets, and the sun ( with proper filters, of course ).

 

Visions for the club: To give members of our local community an opportunity to reconnect with the night sky.
